Following its development, Water Horizon needs to strengthen its commercial structure and wishes to integrate a Senior Account Manager.

Within the Business division, the Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving company revenue growth.

Job mission

As a Senior Account Manager, your mission will primarily consist of:

  • Identify opportunities / develop the company in pre-defined countries.
  • Contribute to updating the business and commercial strategy and act as a key player in its implementation.
  • Stimulate revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing high-value B2B contracts in the industrial refrigeration sector.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with industrial clients, understand their energy needs, and offer tailor-made renewable cooling energy solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, marketing) to ensure smooth implementation of energy solutions.
  • Anticipate market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes in the energy and renewable energy sectors.
  • Develop and manage key accounts long-term.

Main Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership

• Identify and target high-potential industrial clients (e.g., manufacturing, agri-food, data centers, etc.) within your territory.
Negotiate and finalize complex B2B contracts for the supply of renewable cold energy (MWh).
• Manage the entire sales cycle: from lead generation to contract signing and client onboarding.

Technical expertise

• Advise clients on the technical and economic benefits of renewable cold energy solutions (efficiency, cost savings, sustainability).
• Work closely with the engineering team to design custom energy solutions.
• Present technical proposals and business cases to decision-makers (general management, purchasing, operations).

Market watch

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the fields of refrigeration and renewable energy.
• Represent WATER HORIZON at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Profile and skills

Formation

• Engineering degree (Master's level) (e.g., Industrial Processes, Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)

Technical skills

Passionate about technology
• Over 10 years of B2B sales experience, with a strong track record in industrial refrigeration, energy, renewable energy, or industrial services.
• Engineering degree preferred or strong technical understanding of energy systems, renewable energy, cold energy, and industrial processes
Fluent French and English (C1 / C2), spoken and written – mandatory
• Proven experience in selling technical solutions (energy supply, energy efficiency, or industrial services)

Soft skills

• Natural team player
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close long-term contracts
• Results-oriented with a hunter-gatherer mindset and an interest in sustainable energy
Experience in technical sales with long sales cycles and low conversion rates
• Significant experience in international B2B industrial business development
• Existing network in the industrial sector (e.g., manufacturing, agri-food, pharmaceutical, data centers)
Knowledge of energy regulatory frameworks (e.g., French or European market energy policies)
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, SAP, etc.)

Remuneration

From 60 to 80 k€ gross depending on experience, variable included
