Water Horizon is looking to strengthen its technical department with the creation of an Automation Engineer position.

Where : Toulouse, France
FULL-TIME POSITION

Objectives

Your main objective will be to help with the technological development of the new industrial units of the Water Horizon project in order to optimize the process by working on an industrial scale on the automation of the process.

Missions

As an automation engineer at Water Horizon, you will have to carry out these different missions :

Participate in the study of PID schemes,

Define the Control/Command/Security architecture scheme,

Implement technical solutions in accordance with customer specifications,

Write functional documents in accordance with customer specifications,

Carry out the technical specifications of the equipment and ensure follow-up with suppliers,

Perform functional analyses, organic analyses, the system database,

Carry out the consultation of suppliers and participate in the choice of technical solutions in agreement with the project manager and the end customer,

Organize and validate the supplier technical documentation,

Establish FAT/SAT acceptance procedures, for pre-commissioning and commissioning

Carry out the follow-up and validation of Hardware and Software acceptances

To have the ability to modify and optimize the automation currently in place.

Test the industrial unit and on-site and propose improvements based on the REX

Skills

Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar (Master’s level).

Initial experience in processes related to chemistry, pharmaceuticals, or agro.

Experience in scale-up is an asset.

Both conceptual and rigorous in operational tasks.

Autonomous, with strong project management skills (task planning and operational monitoring).

Proven synthesis and writing abilities.

Perseverance, Creativity, Empathy, Sense of Urgency, Charisma, and Natural Leadership.
