Job Description : Research and Development Technician H/F
WHERE: Toulouse, France
FULL TIME POSITION
Objectives
You will join a team of 20-25 people (engineers, technicians, work-study students and interns), to actively contribute to the development of the complementary building blocks of Water Horizon’s technology. These bricks are the subject of numerical simulations as well as tests on prototypes before being integrated into industrial batteries in close collaboration with the Industry team.
– Design and Manufacture several versions of prototypes and tooling
– Test the different versions of the equipment
Missions
As a Research and Development Technician at Water Horizon, you will have to carry out these different missions :
Manufacturing of parts in the workshop.
Assembly of complete prototypes.
Design parts of different materials (plastic, steel, stainless steel) with different production methods (welding, plastic socketing, TIG and arc welding).
Supply of equipment for the production of prototypes.
Test the industrial unit with on-site travel and propose improvements from the REX.
Skills
Bac+2 training such as mechanical, welding or electrical engineering.
Have a first experience in a manufacturing, welding or manufacturing workshop eletrical work.
Be autonomous and versatile.
A qualification in stainless steel welding or electricity would be a plus.
Perseverance, Creativity, Empathy and a sense of urgency.
